Elevation

The clouds were thin and wispy
like a memory's demise,
an image that was crispy
till deluged by the lies
we long to exorcise;

among them I was drifting
across the blue expanse
and watched my outlook shifting
--coalescing on a chance--
my it was uplifting!

Flying among the clouds - uplifting indeed. I felt my spirits rising up, too, as I read.

"thin and wispy like a memories demise"--love that! Also, your rhyming always impresses me--so flowing, it just fits :-)
